fwiw,

my initial reference to mcdonalds, in a previous post, had to do with the
case in which they sued a scottish restaurant owner (named mcdonald) over
the use of the name.  i believe that the outcome was in favor of the
restaurant owner, and that mcdonalds suffered very bad public relations for
picking on the little guy.

i was not referring to the coffee incident.

i still believe that if whoever is threatening action against the digest
actually pursues it to the point where the facts come out, and identities
become known, he'll end up doing more harm to his reputation than good.

personally, i've had nothing but good things come out of dealings i've had
with fellow digesters.  perhaps i'll have to start using some caution,
knowing that there are some $#$%^% out there..
