re: colore prugna

Eric Sands asked about factory factory purple or plum colors. John
Hertzman found 509, described as both 'Rosso Amaranto, amaranth' and 'plum'
in factory publications from the late 60s and early 70s.

Another more-or-less purple factory color of the same vintage was 516,
"faggio." The Italian means "beech" (the tree); imagine one of those
European beeches with the dark leaves and you'll know what it looks like.
I had a GTV in 516 and have seen a couple of others. BMW used a similar
color in the 70s.
