78 spider fluids and diff. hex

there was so much contradictory advice going around about fluids
recently, that mid way through the thread i dropped out of observation. 
i am looking for some suggestions for fluids for a 78 spider that don't
involve costly imports.  any advice on brands and weights would be
greatly appreciated.  with respect to the engine oil, recently i've
noticed a serious leak whereby after every time i drive it i can watch it
drip tiny puddles underneath the oil pan.  this is almost immediate and
pretty quick; something to fix or endure?  

differential fluid?
engine oil?
brake fluid(dot 4, right, but any specific brand)
clutch, transmission fluid?

also, what hex do i need for the rear differential drain and fill?  is it
a size not generally found at say, a getty - where i have lift access to
do this myself?
