GTV6 Magnesium Wheels

I have heard that early GTV6 wheels really were magnesium rather than =

aluminium, but I cannot confirm this.

However, one major problem with magnesium for wheels is that the
material is slightly porous, and will allow air through very slowly.
They need to be 'painted' with a coating which will seal them, and
just using normal paint will mean that you tyre will go down over =

a week or so. It will also tend to bubble the paint off from the
inside.
