It will fit, bu just to swap the gearbox won't do. The final ratio
of the 1300 is not equivalent to the 1750. 1300 have 9/41 plus the
5th gear has 3,92, the 1750 (GTV) has 10/41 and 3,24 = lower
engine speed in 5th. You will need to either change the speedo
pinion etc in the gearbox, or the rear axel to a 9/41. I
understand that you consider putting a 1300 g b in a 1750 GTV?

The revs will be higher at the same speed as before, faster acc,
reduced top speed, more fuel needed, higher consumption? engine
noice etc.

I wouldn't swap.

1300 gear box
15,05 - 9,06 - 6,17 - 4,56 -3,92
1750 (GTV) gear box
13,53 - 8,16 - 5,54 - 4,10 - 3,24
