alfetta gtv steering rack in a gtv6?

hi all,

i was wondering if anyone has ever installed an alfetta steering rack in a gtv6,
and if so, any comments?   racks are supposedly the same, except for a rebound
damper, which is on the gtv6 rack - true?  i've also heard you can remove this
part from the gtv6 rack and install it on the alfetta rack.  anyone who can
confirm this?

in case anyone's wondering, the little jiggle that i have at the inner tie-rod
end of my current steering rack has NOT gotten any worse since i installed the
225-50-15's & lowered the car.  it's yust that i'm gonna be doing some more
front end bastardizing soon, and i figure it's a good time to install this gnu
alfetta rack i got a year ago.
