However, that Alfa Spider design was good for almost 30 years  without a 
significant upgrade!

Hey, I  like my Fat Butt designed Z4, at least there available in the US,
and I  hate to say it but better then my 91 spider every was. Don't
flame, won't  reply,  I owned it for 13 years and drove it over  205,000
miles.
