[alfa] GTV6/Milano fuelpump/filter orientation

There is probably a reason for the fuellines to have that circuitous design:
being Dutch and not Italian, I have not tried to figure it out.

Far more important is the fact that the fuel pump receives unfiltered fuel.
As the cars get older and sit around more, the tanks rust.
The intank pump has a sock that is supposed to filter the fuel but the sock is
usually deteriorated or gone, and quite often the intank pump is too.
The main pump can grind up a certain amount of detritus but eventually it
locks up and dies.

I straighten out the fuel lines etc.to get rid of the kinks, AND I install an
inline fuelfilter
in front of the pump on all of my customers cars, both V6 and 4 cyl. Bosch.
The filter is a WIX 33299, available at most parts stores and IAP, it's the
right size inlet/outlet and a whole lot cheaper than a new fuelpump.
ymmv,

Hans
