[alfa] Chains and belts

I will agree that the chain is better than the belt
for longevity, but I don't think the belt is a bad
solution if done right (i.e. not enough contact with
the right bank on the Alfa V6 when looking at the
engine). But two examples of the opposite is the 1st
Gen M3, I had a friend looking to buy one and everyone
he talked to said the chain and tensioners should be
change with in 130k miles range due to failure. Same
friend has a co-worker with a newer Accord v6 who put
300+k miles on the original t-belt before it broke (he
has over a 100 mile one way commute to work), it's a
clearance engine, so no big deal.

Also, take a look at a VW W motor, that thing has
timing chains all over it, some on the front of the
engine some on the back. If the chains ever need to
be replaced in that engine, it will need to be pulled
and dismantled, not going to be a low cost job.
