[alfa] 164 valvejob cost

850 bucks for the 3.0 valvejob is in the ballpark; IAP sells them exchange for
800, which includes new valves, springs, guides and seals.

Unfortunately, most machine shops do not replace the valve guides, and reuse
your old valves and springs, for about the same money. These valvejobs are
therefore a complete waste of time and your money.

IAPs price is an incredible deal - I charge 50% more - OK, mine are not stock
when they leave here.

And lastly, the labor to R n R the heads; $1000 for the Milano/GTV6, $1500 for
the 164.
If you're a serious tinkerer, with tools and a workplace, the R n R can be a
DIY.
Know your limitations.
