[alfa] Ultimate Spider A/C? (Was A/C in Dallas)

OK Rodney- I'll bite- What did your mechanic do behind the seats in your
Fiat?
I have an '83 Fiat (Pininfarina) Spider and an '87 Alfa Spider. The '87 A/C
is pretty cold, but the Fiat with its' lousy add-on A/C is pretty bad. If
there is something reasonably outrageous, I'm for it! Maybe you have some
pics?
I figure you probably had A/C lines run to the back seat area and installed
another evaporator and blower- but did you use a 2nd compressor and/or
condensor? Where were the lines routed? How did you route the cool air?
BTW- I don't care if some of you think that A/C in a Spider is sacrilege-
try living in Miami (or Dallas!) without it!
Thanks Much!

>I had Robert do the A/C in my FIAT. I wanted the coldest Spider on the face
of the earth. He tore the backseat out and added a custom >A/C system. I
now have front and rear A/C. I can get the cabin down to 55 in August no
problem. The only issue I have is that when I >leave the car and walk in
the house it seems rather warm...
