Charles King asked about Forever Black.

I bought it at a local dealer to refresh the grey (originally black) trim on
my 164 and was very satisfied.  If I recall correctly, I simply washed the
trim, used some sort of cleaner that came with the product, then applied the
product.  It was easy to prepare the trim and apply the product.  It's been on
the car for about two years.  I originally did two coats and have refreshed it
once.  I recommend Forever Black.  I have not tried any similar products.
