[alfa] re: Spider no start, always worth a shot...

Wow, Wayne, you've checked through a lot in your diagnosis!

There is no possible way I could add to the knowledge of the
esteemed gearheads and shadetree mechanics on this list, but the sudden
cutting out while driving would make me think of something very simple,
like a loose connection.
Did the ground strap work loose?
	Did a fuse blow?
Did something else come loose -- battery connections? Have you
checked the battery for corrosion, etc?

Not for me, of course, but it would help the other gurus to know what you
mean by "no start": no sound, no clicking, no lights, no horn? no
nothing? or, clicking, gas smell, no gas smell, lights, horn ....

When I had a no-start due to an entirely different problem, Fred walked me
though testing the electrical system throughout the car. It sounds like
you've isolated all the components to individually test, but have you
tested them in circuit?
