[alfa] cam shaft question

   How important are the bearing journal surfaces on a set of 2L camshafts? 
Mine have minor scratches on the surface but I am not sure that they are of any 
consequence. Should these cams be machined and re-surfaced before using, or 
should minor scratches be of no consequence?
