[alfa] 2L Crank Pulley Nut Question



  OK, stupid question time here . . . I'm trying to get the front crank pulley
nut off the recently-removed engine from my '88 Quad.  So far, I've put close
to 300ft/lb of torque on it using a long extension bar.  No go.  I keep seeing
refernece to the "locking tab" on the nut, but don't see anything resembling a
traditional lock tab (flat tab bent over onto one of the sides of a hex nut).
Am I missing something here?  Or is this bear just siezed in place?
