Hi Adam:

There was talk early last year that Bernie might be a potential buyer of 
some Ferrari stock, after the death of Gianni Agnelli.  Since then I heard 
that a group of Italian banks bought 40% of Ferrari, as posted to one 
of  the F1 sites; maybe http://www.planet-f1.com/  If I recall, the value 
of Ferrari was listed at something like 2.5 to $3 billion.

Bernie was however the patriarch of the Brabham F1 team for a long while, I 
think from '71 thru maybe '87 or '88.
