The track opened as a 1/4 mile paved oval on May 30th, 1963, operating through 1970. It was enlarged to a 1/3 mile paved oval in 1971. The track closed late in 2006 due to bankruptcy. It reopened in 2007 under its current name.

The track has also operated as Dells Motor Speedway and Wisconsin Dells Motor Speedway.
