The warning track of the ball field was used as a 1/4 mile dirt oval around 1940 to 1942. A 1/5 mile wood oval was used on June 5th & 8th, 1948. A 1/4 mile paved oval operated from August 28th, 1958 through September 12th, 1959, during the period between the departure of the Giants and the two seasons the Mets played here.
