The complex provides for a large number of variations and lends itself to being divided so that simultaneous events can be run. The longest current configuration is 2.2 miles although a 2.5 mile variant is planned. Additionally, there will be short (1.27 & 1.17 mile) versions which can be run simultaneously. Bluegrass rents to marque clubs and club racing organizations in addition to serving members.

The design is being done by Derek Daly and Paxon Waters. Although construction is still ongoing, the track has run since 2009.
